KIRKUS REVIEW

Lawyer Scott Jordan (of Bury Mc Deep) again engaged in some extra-legal entanglements as he takes on the job of finding a rich man's niece, and also the defense of Vela Edwards- accused of pinching a pin from a jeweller. Through a tangle of murder, embezzlement, blackmail and illicit relations, Jordan finally molds his two-way case in a single solution. The stepping is fast- fancy too.
