We want a picture book of skiing"" has been the cry so long it is hard to believe it is being answered this Christmas, and what a marvelous answer; Beautiful action photography, excellent text, thrilling pictures combined with an introduction by Charles N. Proctor, author of Learning to Ski, and one of the two leading professionals. Text by the Oltons, well known amateurs, and a grey cloth book-designed by Gordon Aymar -- aside from the fact that this is America's first picture book on skiing-- quite worthy of all this distinction, however. Suggest it and show it -- same market as all Morrow picture books.
