THE PATIENT'S DILEMMA: The Quest for Medical Security in America

This book crusades for better medical care for everyone. The author analyzes the new vistas science has opened up in every branch, physics, chemistry, etc., and makes it all too obvious that the old G. P. cannot keep pace with medical progress and give specialized and first class care. Preventive medicine is still a neglected field. Modern treatment needs better equipment. The answer is cooperation -- between doctor, public and government. The book is a lucid; persuasive program for the medicine of the future, but it is repetitious here and there.
