THE ORDER OF DEATH

Colin Wilson country--a hideosity about Fred, a policeman, who has imposed a symmetry of some sort by carving up five narcotics officers with a bread knife. He also keeps a solitary pied-a-terre for narcissistic indulgences, though co-copper Bob comes there on occasion. So does a junior creep called Smith who claims to be the Cop Killer (he's almost as sick as Fred). He's kept tied up in the bathroom until--after Bob's disposition--he helps to put Fred out of his misery and anyone else who's gone this far with even less justification.
