ALBERT THE CAMEL'S SON

This reprint from the English series which includes Professor Porky and Madame Hes and Little has the same pseudo-Potter format, witty illustrations and rhyming text. The verse, rather intricate for this age group, is coy rather than sly, and relies upon a larger vocabulary than the child of this age- in America alas! -- possesses. Albert, the young camel, who has ""an active little mind"" finds himself in difficulties many times, but finally performs a fine deed for the king and from that time his popularity is ""perfectly stupendous"".
