THE FOURTEEN DILEMMA

The scene of Pentecost's Time of Terror bomb crisis is once again New York's ultra-ritzy Hotel Beaumont. This time the luxurious 14th floor serves as the setting for the brutal murder of an angelic twelve-year-old retarded girl who can neither hear nor speak. The Beaumont's manager, Pierre Chambrun, and his PR man, Mark Haskell, soon have their hands full when two other of the floor's guests check out all too unexpectedly--a militant black poet who's machine-gunned, and an Arab oil sheik found with his throat slit. A suite job--and surprisingly accommodating.
