OUR NEW BABY

At Last! A really good book about that new baby brother or sister, by two authorities on child care. There have been several attempts before, but this is it. Keyed just right in its tone, not sentimental or over-selling the baby idea, it picks out just the things about a baby that will intrigue the three-to-five-year-old listener. Incidentally it does a good job on Mother, too, with a few hints, neatly placed, about how to handle baby's training and how to get older brother or sister to be helpful instead of resentful. I hope the pictures (by Dorothy Black) will bear out the spirit of the text.
