KIRKUS REVIEW

This is a beautiful book with illustrations by Rudolf Freund, many in full color and others in clear black and white. As a reference book for every library, public or in the home, this deserves wide distribution. The format is the same as for other books in this series which includes Maitland Edey's two bird books. The text is lucid and not only gives general information on these insects but also the complete life story of each of seventy three varieties. Should not be confined to juvenile sale.
