QUESTIONS GOD ASKS

Thirteen answers to thirteen questions asked by God from the pages of the Old and New Testaments. For example, ""Where are you?"", ""Where is your brother?"", ""Who do you say that I am?"", ""Do you love me?"", ""Why do you persecute me?"" Each of these and other questions is the starting point for a sermon dealing with the problem it raises. Dr. Beckelhymer, minister of the Disciples' College and Community Church in Hiram, Ohio, since he speaks to both the academic and the general community, must find a common ground of understanding which is neither too deep nor too shallow. These sermons indicate that he has acquired considerable skill in this and in relating the theological problem to the daily lives of his hearers. Laymen who like to read sermons will find this collection of more than average interest; other Protestant preachers may well learn a thing or two.
