KIRKUS REVIEW

The 18 stories of wiseacres at work were collected from all over the world by the author, an Air Force man for twenty-one years according to the publisher's catalogue. His interesting, easy-to-pack hobby collection has resulted in the sort of book storytellers are always on the alert for. It's not that many of the stories are obscure or hard to find, it's that they're all together, all slyly pointed and all funny. Nothing perks up a study unit on a foreign country quite like a good trickster tale well told.
