AUTOMOTIVE TUNE-UPS FOR BEGINNERS

By

Pub Date: March 1st, 1974
Publisher: Macrae Smith

The average car owner might prefer to spend more time tinkering under the hood and skip a good deal of this preparatory reading, but there will be an audience for this thorough, clearly understandable guide to the theory and practice of tune-ups. Unfortunately Edmonds supplies only sample engine specs, but his jargon-free language and willingness to answer tangential questions (why, as well as how, a dwell meter works) will encourage those who normally find mechanics mystifying, and prospective auto repairmen will find many useful suggestions for increased efficiency.
