KIRKUS REVIEW

Third in a series about Bill Carson, 5'6"" flash from Kerwin High, editor of the paper, president of the student council and clever enough to overcome his height in basketball, baseball, and now...football. Two complete game sequences are hung on a moral dilemma: Bill has seen his two best friends paint a sign on the schoolhouse wall. He will be responsible for finding the culprits--what will he do? Such agonizing. He turns to his all-knowing father but ""How then could he counsel his son, rocked by the same kind of impasse."" Pompous prose and moralistic posing--not worth the game time.
