RACING DINGHY MAINTENANCE

There's a need for books on this modern light centreboard craft, which is growing in popularity as a cruising and racing boat. The emphasis here is on correct maintenance as a vital factor in successful racing and cruising. The chapters-fully illustrated with charts, diagrams, drawings, (totalling 120 line drawings and 8 photographs), successively discuss periodic survey, first aid (to dinghies), rigging, finishes (this with considerable expansion), masts and spars, block fittings and fastenings, centre-boards and rudders, and sails. Again, this- as an import from Great Britain, may have some local terms and provisions not accepted usage here, but in the main, the sailing fraternity speaks an international language.
