THE PEKING PAYOFF

It's the 1970's and rumor has it that China will take over Hung Kong, a step Donald MacGribben, senior taipan of the crown colony's largest conglomerate, hopes to circumvent -- making a handsome offer lined with dollars to the Chinese premier when a meeting is scheduled in Canton. But then there's the trouble he doesn't know about -- his lovely second wife has become hooked on junk and Missy is being forced by her connection to smuggle in the gun which will be used for the assassination. . . . Chinese takeout -- with politics, big business and heroin packaged in those little white cartons -- more firmly than usual but packaged just the same.
