**The kind of book that every member of the family takes to his heart- at least our family did when they weren't helpless with laughter. There ought to be a bell that rings loudly when a fresh piece of humor is born. It's the sort of story telling that gets into the idiom -- freely quoted -- hugely enjoyed. Telling the story isn't a substitute for owning a copy yourself and trying it out... It seems there was an old lady who lived alone in a quiet old house... among tall old trees...where fat old birds sang slow old songs...and fat old bees buzzed brazoom, brazoom, brazoom. Then Boppet arrived and like any other frisky dog, he exhausted his world. They had to match him with a boy, so they got Timothy Toppet, and everyone was so relieved that they had a new lease on life.
