KIRKUS REVIEW

Poor, lonely Ottie! He has no idea that the reason his new neighbors ostracize him is that he criticizes their every move. But he gets the point when they turn the tables on him--and ends the book with new friends and a new hobby: bird-watching (""But the birds didn't care""). Pointed, but good-humored; illustrated with verve.
