RABASH

The pictures, both in full color and blue on white have the rich coloring of glazed pottery, and conventional Persian figures have been skillfully used in the designs. The story is a trifle about a horse in a Prince's book. It comes to life, romps in the forest, is captured by the Prince's father, but finally regains its freedom. The writing lacks simplicity and feeling and the attempt to simulate oriental legend is commercially occidental.
