KIRKUS REVIEW

Vasiliu's well-known and very popular illustrating style takes on all the attributes here of the Christmas card. The story is seasonally amusing: a grubby, mischievous little angel plays hooky from heavenly choir rehearsal, to spend a couple of days being a grubby, mischievous little boy. The illustrations, and to some extent the text, include many wry details about Christmas in the city, which will be appreciated both by children and adults.
