Good addition to the ""Read to Me"" series, in a story of a nursery animal character, one not usually found in nursery books, the duck-billed platypus. Peter found out about the rest of the animals on farm and in zoo - and they found out about him. At last, in the Platypusary of the zoo, he has a happy home with his own kind. Pleasant song on the end papers; amusing cartoon-type character drawings in soft crayon throughout. Large type for precocious beginning readers, but in the main intended for reading aloud.
