KIRKUS REVIEW

This is not the type of thing one has come to associate with Zhenya Gay, but more in the tradition of Wanda Gag. A story in pictures and captions of 85 lumberjacks and the 85 cats they take to lumber camp to keep the mice under control. And of what happened when the water pan spilled and the cats broke forth to hunt for water. The average child will feel a bit cheated that the story stops just as it should begin to be exciting.
