There are now eight animal twin books, and they have established their own market. The pattern is more or less routine -- there's a ""message"" of sorts, and this one has the general idea that each animal has its own function, its own qualities- and that none can expect to exceed on all counts. Nonetheless, to this reader, the giraffe twins get away with considerable conceit, which may explain why to me giraffes always look insufferably self-satisfied....
