NINTH WEEK

A mystery-romance, that might have an appeal to women mystery fans, but that is primarily a novel rather than a thriller. The setting is the Connecticut shore of Long Island Sound, and the plot revolves around the kidnapping of a man and the recovery of the hidden ransom money. It is an intricate plot, with sinister happenings, a murder or so, a dance marathon, and a love story. Good entertainment for a winter's evening, and should be easy rental.
