KIRKUS REVIEW

The nesting, birth (in attentive detail) and early weeks of a wild mouse family are chronicled here in brief, diary-like notes and soft brown, blurred-edge sketches that make it easy to suspend disbelief in this unusually tolerant observer, who is delighted to have mice nest in her coffee mill and forage for food in her cupboards. Likable.
