LUCKY DAYS FOR JOHNNY

A matter-of-fact little boy's story in which ordinary events are handled with interest and homelike humor. For Johnny's teacher came to dinner and made a great hit with his four uncles and all was well until Johnny realized he would have a new teacher next year. This almost spoiled his visit to his aunt's farm the next day, but a meeting with the principal made him happy again, and then on Sunday when he and his uncles walked with the teacher, there were two sundses and promises of more. Not much action but young readers will find this to their masculine tastes. The unassuming drawings in black and white by Kurt Wiese are in keeping.
