KIRKUS REVIEW

Romance and renunciation, all enveloped in a fine lyrical haze of quotations from all the romantic poets, results in a pallid piece of sentimentality concerned with Gabriella, true to her dead husband, who refuses Tor, who is then won by Emily. There is also Trulle and her conflict between Skye and Mark, sophisticate and idealist. Perhaps you didn't know ""there is a red turban in every woman's heart.....unfulfilled romance""?
