FLIPPER A Sea Lion

The California coast has some protected areas for sea lion nurseries. This is a story, packed with sound factual material, about a young sea lion. One has, at the start, a sense of familiarity in the pattern, but it ends by being a better story than the average, with plenty of incident, most of it credible, in the adventures of Flipper, who became a pet of a youth who used him to train other sea lions for the circus. Glen Rounds has made the pictures.
