KIRKUS REVIEW

To Tommy and Janie, their black cat, Mac, seemed lazy because all day he dozed and snoozed but if they followed Mac's nocturnal wanderings with the reader, as he ventured into city alleys to investigate the contents of trash cans, and sing duets with other night prowling cat friends of his, like Bess, Spoof and Posy, they would have known their cat had a right to nap on a soft pillow in the daytime.
