NURSE!

Interesting material badly presented in a group of short stories that trace the history of nursing down from the Egyptians to the present day, prefaced with a chapter listing the many opportunities opened to trained, registered nurses. As indicated here, there are all the glories of service to one's fellow man, with none of the hardships involved. I know of nothing else that covers this field for teen age vocational shelves. Too bad it isn't better done, with less sugar coating, and more direct approach, unfictionized.
