About as corny as the rustic successes he parodies -- I've never found him particularly funny -- but there are those who liked his series of lowbrow slap-stick take offs on best seller. How to Lose Friends and Alienate People, etc. Here we have another, with a worthless pa alternating between country law, country doctoring and country farming. He rides all phases of R.F.D. living, and parodies the happy home and the school. Whacky -- occasionally vulgar -- full of puns.
