JUNIOR SPEAKS UP by Irving R. Abrams

JUNIOR SPEAKS UP

By

Pub Date: Feb. 10th, 1947
Publisher: Macmillan

Reported 9/15 for November publication, as follows:- Intended for the misguided mother, in intentionally funny form, it would take a pretty low sense of humor to get much out of these dialogues between Junior and his shadow, Mom Worrimore, a witless woman, and Dr. Bodybuilder, his pediatrician. Certain elementary information on feeding, spoiling, elimination, thumb-sucking, bathroom control, illness, temper tantrums, etc. -- all of which follows contemporary lines, and more sensible than the balance of the book indicates. With so much better books on child care available, even the flibberty-gibbet will find this unessential.
