JUAN, SON OF THE FISHERMAN

Pub Date: Sept. 17th, 1941

Story about a little Spanish boy and how, on a long visit to some inland relatives, he learned that his grandmother spoke truly when she said he might never look on his beloved see again till he discovered what his hands, his feet, and above all, his heart, had been given him for. Juan is altogether real and human, his story interesting and unusual. One breathes the very air of Spain not so long ago, with the grapes, the fiesta and the winging, the pet crickets, the bull-fights Juan didn't like so much.
