The lifestory of that great early patriot, the Connecticut Yankee, who wrote the Spelling Book and the first American Dictionary. Webster had great influence on our vocabulary and gave recognition to many homespun words, he was a straight-thinking important character of that period that seems to have given us so many heroes.
