MR. AND MRS. CUGAT

Froth, but quite entrancing, these lighthearted episodes of a married couple. Mr. Cugat, a bank officer, tends to be pretty correct but slips badly -- and madly -- then and now. Mrs. Cugat is troubled with her check book, her imagination, and her inability to keep her fingers out of other people's affairs. Mr. Cugat tripping up over an old flame, and getting into an hilarious jam; Mrs. Cugat and higher finance; Mrs. Cugat's tongue running away with her on the arrival of a visiting lecturer, but backed up -- unexpectedly -- by her husband:- it all fizzles and fiascos in a very nice way. Adventures in the lives of a happily married pair. Entertaining and more.
