FIT FOR A QUEEN by Isabelle and Merle Armitage

Email this review

Fit For A King has known 18 years of publication and this is its new consort for the two Armitages combine to offer recipes and menus geared to an experimental cook, a hostess on the lookout for that different touch, and the busy housekeeper for whom shortcuts and domestic legerdemain are a boon. From dinners to lunches, roasts to canapes, soups to vegetables, fish to desserts, these are author-tested and vouched for, and suggestions for interesting accompaniments are in order for many of the dishes. For those who have worked with Armitage's earlier book this will have carte blanche and those who work with this will perhaps be attracted to the first. Among so many cook books this should find friends.
