Stick-A-Nose-In was a bear cub who suffered from insomnia. When winter came Sarah-Susan and Mutty immediately fell asleep and lonely little Stick-A-Nose-In decided to explore the village. But alas, in trying to retrieve some honey from a tree, our hero is trapped by the village blacksmith. Although he is well treated and befriended by little Peter-Jon who teaches him to dance to a singing flute, the odors of Spring are a powerful reminder of his mountain home. With difficulty but with resolve the little cub and his friend separate. A mild little story with interest for animal fanciers.
