SCIENCE AND EVERYDAY LIFE by J. B. S. Haldane

SCIENCE AND EVERYDAY LIFE

By

Pub Date: June 11th, 1940
Publisher: Macmillan

A collection of 70 odd articles written by Haldane for the Daily Worker. Brief, succinct, giving a few facts about scientific matters which affect man's daily life and bringing those facts into relation with everyday existence. Mathematics, physics, evolution, medicine, astronomy, biology, dietetics, etc. He brings out small points not included in any college curriculum, points which aid man in dealing with the society in which he lives. Bits of political science are interspersed. Haldane is a sincere Marxist. Simple. Interesting.
