SAVAGE PATROL

The story of the native police force in a partially unexplored country, Papua, or British New Guinea, told by one of the white men who lead the native officers in their dangerous treks through the interior after criminals ignorant of the seriousness of their offense. No background of the country nor the organization of the police; simply factual account of successive raids, of the attempts to secure the confidence of the tribes in the interior, of the methods of handling justice. Published under the auspices of the National Travel Club, and will provide ethnologists with interesting data and the reader of unusual travel material a certain amount of entertainment and interest.
