THE BOOK GOD MADE

Here is a book which proclaims that the author, Dr. J. Carter Swaim, not only loves the Bible, but is in love with it. He writes lyrically of what the Bible is, and has meant to him and the world of men. The events narrated, he says, are still the most exciting news the human race ever had, especially the stories in the New Testament, and he has an urgent concern to spread this enthusiasm to others. He writes glowing words about what the Bible is, the message of the Bible, and how to read the Bible. Some readers may think that the coloring is a bit too purple--and be put off a bit, but others who share Dr. Swaim's enthusiasm for the Bible will be glad to have his additional testimony.
