FACTS OF THE FAITH by J. D. Conway

FACTS OF THE FAITH

By

Pub Date: Nov. 19th, 1959
Publisher: Doubleday (Hanover House)

This book can be recommended highly to inquirers, both Catholic and non-Catholic, particularly the latter, who would appreciate a clear, comprehensive, integrated exposition of the principal teachings of the Roman Catholic Church on matters of faith and morals. It is addressed to the reader as if he were a member of Monsignor Conway's inquiry class. It is factual and informative rather than polemical, the style is simple, and the explanation of doctrines, arranged in logical order, is of sufficient depth to satisfy the inquirer of more than average intelligence. Attention is given to common difficulties and objections felt by non-Catholics when it comes to understanding or accepting certain Catholic teachings. This is a very good book to recommend to all honest inquirers and to keep on one's own shelf for ready reference. Imprimatur.
