When he does reach the Guardians, he is impressed by their power will animals, whom they protect from the depredat of semi civilized man. A and his new friends help check Caesar's Initial ad but only for a moment. That moment is enough for them to melt appropriately into the forest of British history. This short book is strong on exotic atmosphere and , and sh interest in this moment in history.
