KIRKUS REVIEW

A clear and concise book on one of the most popular sports in America today, and not top technical for the amateur. Aside from the rudiments of the game it emphasizes the necessity of accurate footwork and still more important, the wristwork which often confuses tennis players, as regards stroking the ball. The illustrations are extremely useful and we are indeed fortunate to have so complete an outline as Mr. Devlin has given us, on the fastest of the indoor games. It will enable each and every one to improve and build up his game on sound principles.
