Another book in the field (to be published 2/3), reviewed here for comparative purposes. There is a good deal of duplication, but this book is not quite so elementary as The Home Mechanic, so beyond a certain point they supplement each other. This goes farther into actual building and structural problems, rebuilding and repair problems, rather than primarily confining itself to chores. The author covers the house from to roof, outside and in. Somewhat the market of First Aid to the Ailing House. And again a book that should have added value in war time.
