KIRKUS REVIEW

A night to remember- for Sgt. Gideon of the Yard, determined and deliberate as ever as he hunts down a variety of offenders. A prowler, who has attacked seven times, strikes again and this time threatens to kill; three babies are snatched, and two suffocated, until they retrieve the third; a Mrs. Penn, who had reported her husband missing, disappears, and both are found murdered; the continuation of a gang war, and assorted infractions are also on the blotter to keep this policeman busy.... As before, procedural.
