COWBOYS OUT OUR WAY

J. Frank Doble writes a most appreciative introduction to this collection of widely syndicated cartoons about the West -- its people and its animals. There's a very realistic and natural quality here, which fits in well with the tradition of the range, and which underlines the incidents and situations involving the four- and two-legged subjects. Many are from the series ""Born Thirty Years Too Soon"", ""Heroe Are Made Not Born"", and all deal with orses, cattle, men, boys, and ranch life; some concern the tourist and the awkwardness of the automobile; and all have a grand, human touch. Picture book plus western market here.
