LET NOT YOUR HEART BE TROUBLED

What shall we say to those who are in trouble and especially to those who are bereaved? Here is a book that will help greatly those who mourn, and those who would help them face their doubts and fears, accept their loss, and face the future with courage. These are 28 brief meditations written to the need of the mourner to believe in the face of despair. The author's basic theme is that death is but a continuation of life into immortality. He minimizes the importance attached to the physical body by emphasizing the joy of the spirit upon returning to its Creator. A sound book written with sensitivity and recommended for clergy and laity alike in their common desire to face the unknown unafraid. The author is pastor of Main St. United Church of Canada, Mitchell, Ontario.
