KIRKUS REVIEW

Very quiet autobiographical sketch of an English clergyman's life in Australia. A good buy for your church list, since there is a small amount of the moral touch, and a very evident desire to make the best of things as they were then -- the bush before modern improvements were available, the life of the people and the adventures common to all newcomers. Remember The Circuit Rider's Wife -- there's your audience for this.
