THE PAPER FLOWER TREE

By

Publisher: Doubleday Harcourt, Brace & World

Miss M is fascinated by the brightly colored paper flower tree an old peddler brings to her village in Thailand. Though she plants one of the paper ""seeds"", nothing happens until one morning she finds a full grown paper tree in her yard. The children offer a sensible explanation for this horticultural miracle, but Miss Moon prefers to it is in her own way. Black and white drawings and full color pictures stress the Oriental scene skillfully.
