Quack quack"" in Duck Dutch can mean many things as little Ernst Jan Learns when he becomes the owner of a duckling with quaint manners and winsome spirit. The manners become apparent on a public bus when Snapper escapes to the luggage rack and proceeds to perform anti on an innocent lady, much to the hilarity of Ernst Jan's seat companion. The special spirit comes through when Snapper makes a deliberate choice between a group of pond ducks and his scolding, lovable master. No fragile duckling this: Snapper survives the interior of a garbage truck and a thunderstorm, though he is not foolhardy enough to retrieve Ernst Jan's shoes from the plank carrying them off to sea. A set of amusing stories suitable for family sharing or independent entertainment.
