KIRKUS REVIEW

This could be read aloud to non-readers, or used as an almost first reader after the primers by the seven and eights, who would thoroughly enjoy its content. The little helicopter wants to show it has a mind of its own, so like Gramatky's beloved Loopy, Cooky took things in its own hands with dire results -- and learned the lesson. It wasn't as much fun as was expected.
