KIRKUS REVIEW

With crusty humor and some real drama, this is a believable little farce about young Oliver Ott of Harmony Village who likes to invent things and comes up by accident with a new fire alarm for the town. Ol's pals, smart Adele and dumb Link, from the vocal backdrop for his fantastic to sensible doings. He starts with an unworkable flying bicycle, but then in more down to earth experiments comes up with a workable siren disk whose sound is amplified by the use of his mother's vacuum cleaner. Corny, but it's a good ear.
